Art and science in veterinary and comparative nutrition as well as related disciplines (veterinary physiology, biochemistry, botany, internal medicine, feed microbiology, immunology, molecular biology).

Scientific contribution to either veterinary or comparative nutrition by publications (high standard) is required. Therefore a minimum of 2 original papers in internationally refereed scientific journals (as principle author), 3 case reports and 2 expert reports as author or co-author.

At the chair of Animal Nutrition and Dietetics, clinical training at the service in co-operation with clinics and private practitioners covers the requirements for the recognition through the credentials committee of the College. Scientific work is done by supervising dissertations as well as doing own research work. A resident also overtakes self-dependent teaching.
